The project centered on collaborating with the agency to plan and design a new website through content strategy, tone and path guidance, logical site hierarchy, and high-fidelity Figma wireframes aligned with existing branding, while building out organized content structures, custom components, and site functionality that adhered to branding guidelines. The work was completed with SiteImprove accessibility remediation and delivery of documentation along with agency access to support continual improvement, future updates, and ongoing site management.

  • Worked with agency to create plan for new website based off existing content on the Higher Education Coordinating Commission site

  • Provided content strategy, tone, paths, & storage guidance based on existing pages & content

  • Worked with agency to determine logical site hierarchy based on needs & organization

  • Built out 7 high fidelity wireframes in Figma based on agency needs within existing branding guidelines

  • Created over 50 document libraries & data lists for display

  • Expanded functionality to include 9 custom components for use across the site

  • Ensured all components & Webparts matched branding guidelines using Sass

  • Built 10 complex pages including Webparts & custom components

  • Built over 40 simple pages to organize content in an easy to reach & logical manner

  • Supplied agency with 18 pages of documentation to assist with future updates & site management

  • Completed accessibility remediation using SiteImprove while supplying agency with access for continual improvement & upkeep
