Department of Early Learning and Care

The project focused on partnering with the agency to refine content strategy, establish a logical site hierarchy, and design high-fidelity wireframes within existing branding, while migrating content, expanding site functionality with custom components, and building both complex and simple pages organized for clarity and usability. It concluded with SiteImprove accessibility remediation and the delivery of documentation and access to support continual improvement, future updates, and ongoing site management.

  • Provided content strategy guidance based on previous sites pages & contents

  • Worked with agency to determine logical site hierarchy based on needs & organization

  • Built out 5 high fidelity wireframes based on agency needs within existing branding guidelines

  • Migrated & combined 25 document libraries & 20 data lists

  • Expanded functionality to include 13 custom components for use across the site

  • Ensured all components and Webparts matched branding guidelines using simple to update CSS

  • Built 20 complex pages including Webparts and custom components

  • Built over 100 simple pages to organize content in an easy to reach & logical manner

  • Supplied agency with 46 pages of documentation to assist with future updates and site management

  • Completed accessibility remediation using SiteImprove while supplying agency with access for continual improvement & upkeep
